Schedule & Format

The Values-based Leadership Program is structured to create a community of learners where presenters and participants interact with and “learn from each other” style. Many different learning styles and modes are incorporated into the program, with content being delivered and explored through:

  • formal presentations
  • built-in reflection time
  • self-assessment exercises
  • peer discussions
  • one-on-one mentoring
  • devotions and informal fellowship

Session I, October 3-6, 2017 will address your individual leadership style, faith and core values, empowering you to lead from within. Session I will begin on Wednesday (October 4) with a buffet breakfast at 7:30 AM followed by a day of lectures, activities, reflections and some free time. Wed we will continue the lectures, reflections and activities. The session will conclude with a time of blessing, setting the interim scheduled and departure at 1 pm on Thursday (October 6).  To Register go to this link.  Here is the Session I Schedule.

Session II, February 20-23, 2018, will build upon your exploration and learning during the inter-term. You will have the opportunity to articulate a personal mission statement and learn how to lead in such a way that inspires a shared vision and empowers those with whom you work. It’s a dynamic format that caters to your personal strengths and needs as a leader. Here is the tentative Session II Schedule.
